Are you or have you ever been a member of FBA (Family Business Australia)? I’m considering to join the organization and just want to know if any of you want to share your experience with FBA and the events they are organizing.

I have been a member of FBA (fambiz.org.au) since 2001. FBA is a not-for-profit organization with several benefits like events for family businesses, conferences, specialized advisors and discount on promotions. The events are always good, and it is nice to meet other people in the same situation. Family business is a unique situation to be in and the same are the problems you face. I have learned a lot as a father and a leader, and how to manage the daily issues you meet in your business. If you are in a family business, I will recommend to check out the organization.

Ps: They are now looking for “the 12 Oldest Family Businesses in Australia”. Do you have an old family business or know about one, you should let FBA know so the business can be one of the lucky winners.

Let me start by welcoming you both to the Australian Business Forum.
We have had a server change with propagation being a big issue, things here should pick up soon.

As I do not run a family business I have never had anything to do with the FBA however have heard a lot of good things about them.
