A whiteboard in the office is a great tool to keep you on track. Every day I walk into work, make myself a cup of tea and plan my day/tasks as points on the white board. Once a task is completed I rub it off and move on to the next task.

It is a very simple yet effective method to maximize your time management.

If you do not have a whiteboard in the office - GET ONE!

So true David. In this digital age, the whiteboard is being cast into the dark but for me it still has certain advantages. For instance, you could rely on it for instant presentation when there's a blackout, wherein an electricity dependent computer would fail you.

Also, A whiteboard is quite an "in your face" kind of thing. Your gaze will wander past and you will be reminded of what needs to be done.
We tend to look at screens too much these days - good organisation and time management does not require fancy tools, of that I am convinced.
