Please give me advice on my boyfriend situation!?

I've been dating this man for about six months and I am very frustrated with him. He is unemployed and refuses to take a job "beneath him". He only has volunteer experience and wants to run a business and won't take your usual startup jobs, insists on a full time $12/hr plus job with full benefits. This leaves me in a position to pay for most of our dates and he is spending copious amounts of time at my apartment driving up the bills by ordering payperview and of course, can not pay a share. beyond that he is stuck to me like a leech and refuses to do everything from laundry to his doctors appointments on his own. He cries and will lay on my couch and whine for hours if I tell him to get a job or go do something by himself. I've considered breaking up with him but he has guns and i'm scared he will hurt me or himself. I've tried talking to his family about this and they just shrugged it off and said he's always been lazy and they're sorry for spoiling him. What can I do?

He is not doing anything on his own! so the best thing to do is to take a break from him until he decides that its important to have a job! its not fair that you are paying for everything! not cool,

What you can do is leave??? honestly if u are afraid that he will ultimately hurt you then leave now before things really blow up. As far as the job and him not wanting to take a job beneath him. That is one poor excuse to continue to be lazy. It's not healthy to be in a relationship where someone is hurting you more than helping you. Him ordering things on the TV is costing you and not helpng you. He needs his momma back and u should send his butt right back. dont let him bring u down-Taken

love is such a silly thing.err... i mean, do you love that person? or you are just letting him leech on you because you're scared that he might hurt you or sumthing? well either way, i suggest you break up with him. he will not do anything because you're there to support him, i bet he's starting to take you for granted. if he really loves you, he'll get back on his feet to get you back in his arms. well errr, that's what i would do. if you're scared that he'd hurt you, why dont you try bringing some friends at your house then ask your bf to come with you in your room and that's when u break up with him. your friends will be outside if ever he intends to hurt you.i hope this helps.goodluck
