Just wanna say this forum is amazing! Thanks for all the useful info.

Anyways I have been putting together a business plan for the past few days. I think my idea is solid an could be very profitable. I want to sell DVDs, but only new releases as it seems there is more profit in this area. Nobody wants some old black an white film lol.

I got some quote from a few wholesalers and there price is real bad, can buy cheaper in the shops. But I found a few sites selling them at $5 each for a new release. So im gonna try be the cheapest in the biz! To take over dvd sales on ebay and then hopefully set up my own website.
What are ur thoughts on my plan??

Methinks your plan is overall a good, solid, one; buy low, sell high. That is the good part. You will go far with this kind of planning.

The bad part is, I regret to say, when the Cops knock on your door with a search warrant for counterfeit goods; eBay will be the people who told them where you live and how many you have got, what titles you have etc. Then, the cops will pass you over to IRS, just to make sure you are legit in that dept...you see, they have this strange theory: anyone involved with counterfeits, does not declare their income properly, if at all. Strange, eh?

So, I like your master plan; it made me smile. But best to forget the $5 new releases, eh?

The name really shows those are fakes but still I did click it out and check it out, couldn't find anything in there.
