Default Switching from Vista to XP?

I am switching from Vista Business to XP Home. I want to do this strictly for speed. I want to know how much faster my computer should be in the following categories (Win experts, here's your cue)StartupPhotoshop CS3Flash CS3Dreamweaver CS3Trackmania Nations Forever Halo PCHD movies on VLCI haveell Vostro 1500 15.4" 1280x800 LCDNvidia 8400M GS graphics (128MB, i think 450/450 memory)2GB RAM120GB SATA2 HDCore 2 Duo T7300 (2 Ghz, 4.0MB Cache, 800FSB)Thannks a ton!

They would load up much much faster.Core 2 Duo + 2 GB Ram + XP = Great

Well XP is of course faster, but if you do want to try and tweak Vista, SP1 is out for it and fixes quite a few bugs (400+mb download) Now how much faster depends on applications, see the link here to Toms Hardware (one of the best, of course arguably) he has XP and Vista comparedhttp://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/xp-vs-vista,1531.htmlAnd check here, the service configurations, he has them for both XP and Vista, there is a helluva lot of stuff you probably will never use that loads uphttp://www.blackviper.com/
