Default Ebay Account Suspended

Does anyone out here have any experience of their account being suspended??? I currently have two IDs the one was newly created Dec`07 this was to open a new shop as my feedback had dropped to 97% and felt it would be best to start a fresh as it would be all new products to sell.

In the meantime my other id had been used to sell DVDs, but ebay were stopping my listings as i was not authorised to sell copyrighted items, my account was then put on a seven day suspension, but when this 7 day suspension started my newly created id had a 5 day auction running, because of this i was autmatically suspended for 12 month as i was not allowed to use any other IDs that i had.

I feel i have been treated unfairly and have not been given a chance to explain what happended. Can anyone share their experiences of account suspension??? Also has anyone experience of selling up again???

First question, where were the DVDs brought from? (country of origin)

That should get the ball rolling...

Authentic Region 1 releases? Not the Asian imports. Looks like eBay are saying they have reason to believe your selling counterfeit DVDs.

This could be for the reasons below.

1. The DVDs your selling may well be fakes and your simply turning a blind eye, hoping you won't get caught. Or your just unaware of the legalities. If you are genuinely unsure, post some images up here to get a second opinion.

2. They could be DVDs which haven't yet been released in aus, giving eBay reason to believe they are counterfeit. Remember, you can only take pre-sales a maximum of 30 days before the release.

Contact eBay via Live Help and hopefully they can shed some light.
