Default Final Value Fee's

Any suggestions/tricks of the trade to minimise the final value fee's other then offsetting it by postage costs? I'm trying to scratch my head for methods, but we have much more experiences traders on here whom I would appreciate if they imparted thier knowledge

There is no real way of getting round it. Off setting on to postage costs is one way but frowned upon, plus eBay are making steps to eliminate doing this altogether I believe. If you are scratching around trying to lower your sales costs then the chances are you may need to find a more profitable product.

Yep, there really isn't any legit way of bringing them down. You can add to the postage but as David mentions, eBay has brought in a rating system that can effect sellers with high postage costs.

What I would say is the as the FVF is fixed it shouldn't be much of an issue. If you find a product that you can't make money from after the FVFs then it's not worth listing. The killer fee on eBay tends to be the listing fee as you are not guaranteed to sell the item, so it could become dead money.
