Default Get ready for the ebay feedback scammers

What a disgrace!

Quote:
With the new Feedback rules being implemented at ebay,
It is the perfect time to start getting something for nothing from ebay, while playing their own game.
(or at least what they are encouraging)

Rules:

1) Find item you would like to bid on

2) Place Bid on the item

3) Pay for and receive the item

4) Post negative Feedback

5) Have Seller issue refund

6) Retract Feedback if you want

The above method will actually cause 2 effects.

1) You stand a excellent chance of getting your item(s) for FREE!

2) This will also cause ebay to eventually crumble if enough buyers follow this practice,
As sellers will eventually stop using ebay once they realize they can not make a living in this environment.

If you use the Pay Pal service you can easily prove item was paid for removing any unpaid item strikes.
If any are even incurred.
Most sellers are so relived to have a negative strike removed I think you will find very few even reporting a item as unpaid.
Especially when they know they have issued the refund, Keeping your account fairly safe.

Although I do not necessarily endorse getting something for nothing,
With ebays new Feedback system, you are playing within the rules they have set.

This new system really puts sellers on the back foot. Bad move by ebay.

It is difficult to the sellers to make some good profit of their sales. Isn't it going to affect the seller in order to make some money from home?

That is a disgrace indeed. I'm getting to the stage where I'm worried about selling on eBay any more. If enough sellers get cold feet, eBay is in for a bit of a shock. You can't have sellers fees without sellers after all.

I agree. There is an eBay boycott going on all week by sellers regarding this very issue, so I will not be visiting the site or listing anything for this week.

I dought the number of listings on ebay would change very much though. Although I am against the move by ebay..there is not much we can do.

We'll see. Too many disputes and people will be forced to leave. There has to be consequences for people who game the system.

I couldn't get the link above to work for me for some reason. I heard about this on the new. That the sellers were going to go on strike and not sell anything. I wonder how that is going? Has anyone heard? I think this is just ridiculous to do and a bad move on ebay's part.

What a nightmare! I used to sell on eBay quite a bit, but with the new rules I'm fast losing interest. Maybe the sellers' strike will wake up/shake up the decision-makers at eBay a little bit.
