I am an economic major and an aspiring entrepreneur. I have my own little business but now, I would like to help local artist in my contry with their products. How do I approach them , telling them that I would like to start a fair trade business with them? I will sell their product to an international market, get less than %50 of the revenue Should I start with only one artist or should I buy the stuff my self and then sell them to see how it goes? What happen if we don't sell something because I will list them on ebay.I am just a college student so I don't have any choice than starting with ebay. I can't be at school and go out to meet with exporters at the same time. Talk to an exporter in your country. If you want to make a few bucks use ebay. If you want to make a career out of it, get in with some exporters or art. They one day you can become an exporter yourself and you could find yourself rolling in the dough. Ebay is for small timers. Dont be a small timer, dream big.
