I already have started small business stores online such as on Amazon and Ebay but decided that there fees are way to expensive and opened up a store on Ecrater.com. I have know what I want to sell already and am actually producing the product over sees in china to cut down on manufacturing cost here in the USA. Is this a good thing I am doing? How do I make this expand more and get it out to the people. I tried using Google Ad word and Yahoo for the marketing but its really expensive. What do you guys suggest that I do with the store I created to make it more successful? Also How will I know if my product that I am selling will turn on successful?Please help Thanks.

The fees on ebay and Amazon are not expensive if you have your pricing right, so you probably have the pricing too low.Your best bet is to start a website store ( see your internet provider for costs). You'll need to design the store - that costs money, too, although there are OpenSource programs that will help you if you're computer savvy.Keep in mind that ebay and Amazon have the customer base - in your own store, you have to go out and solicit your own. It's going to cost more money.It won't be long before the ebay fees start to look cheap, but, if you have the right product at the right price, it may be worth it.
