Thats very true hassent. and just to add as well usually these scammers have very good people skills. for instance my brother when he went to those countries and people would try to sell him things theyd often ask what religion or country they are so they can pretend to have something in common with you and butter you up with friendliness and talks of religious brotherhood and make it easier for you to trust them.

this is important because the ebay scammers everyones talking about use those same tactics.

thats exactly right frank Z! as soon as the scammers that tricked me into selling the phone found out my name was mohammad they started their emails with muslim greetings! they were very greedy as they had the nerve to ask for more money so they could post the phone back... they said the postage would cost 300 us dollars...
300 dollars for postage i dont think so.

Thats sad to hear 12.14 and welcome to the forums.
It's hard to believe there are people out there willing to do anything for money.
At least it won't happen again to you after your reaseach.
You always have to watch out on the net these days.

The same thing happend to me 12.14, and I completely understand.
These scammers do a very good job of making there emails look legitamate.
Unfortunatley it only takes an ebay novice to fall for it.
