Selling As A Business On E-bay.

Hello i already have a few accounts for buying on ebay.

Also i want to begin selling and thought i get advice from the experts here.

What are the benefits of signing up to sell as a business on Ebay?

Please can the business ebay sellers give some advice to a beginner.

It does not particularly matter if you sell your items as an individual or as a business the result is the same.

I would like to know what would be the best product or products that could be sold on Ebay. I do have a buying account and a selling account but didn't start with selling anything. Kindly, let me know what would be the best products to sell online on Ebay.

Hello Ammulu,
First let me welcome you to the forum.
Your question is not an easy one, But the simple answer is to find a niche (Simply a product that is not being sold much of on ebay).
For example - Do not make the mistake of trying to sell a popular item like "DVD players" on ebay because there will be too much competition. The best way to go is to find an item that would sell well, but no one is selling currently. Eg. Instant outdoor showers.

Thankyou David for the hearty welcome and the great suggestion. I need to look out for a good niche now. I always thought of selling some craft works but it doesn't work that well because there are many who sell such work on ebay. I should decide on some good and rare product that could be sold well. Thanks once again David.

Dear Ammulu,

The best products to sell are the ones which are unlikely to have any performance problems or warranty claims, etc.

Also, the best products to sell are the ones you can make decent margins on, 100% + mark ups. We like to sell higher valued items to make the transaction worthwhile and keep the eBay fee % down.
