Are there any auctions where I can buy Jewelry at a resonable price?
Hi,In my experience, the trick to using ebay to get "wholesale prices" is to browse only the "buy it now" listings. There are a couple reasons why this is true...If you do a little homework ahead of time as far as figuring out an item's fair market value (FMV)--just research the completed items--from that you will have a pretty good idea of what would constitute a "below wholesale price" for similar items. Then you just browse ebay's "buy it now" listings, looking for those listings of similar items where you know the BIN price is in that "below wholesale price" range (which you've determined using the research you did as explained above).Because you are right, if you just leave it up to the auction process, you are wasting lots of time as none of the bidding really means anything until the last few seconds anyway, so with BIN, you save time in addition to money because the items often get bid up to FMV or more (which is sometimes more than the BIN price). Seriously, I can't believe it when I see people bidding up to the same price I know we can buy brand new from a well-known dealer with warranty, good return policy, etc., yet so many people are paying the same price to buy from some "no-name dealer". I'm always like "Don't these people know they can buy it brand-new from _____ for the same price?" Guess not. But I digress.Anyway, that's my advice. Also, here's some current jewelry auction listings you can browse and look for the Buy It Now listings: http://fine-jewelry-auctions.net/Hope this helps. :-)
