I have just received an email with an "invoice" for a "guess" handbag purchased on ebay requesting payment of $149.50!

It looks very much like an ebay email, but there are a few differences. Invoices emailed from ebay are sent from: ebayMember***, this is from book966. Also the link on the invoice which shows you the item you have "purchased" usually goes back to ebay, this one goes to ducrows.org. The other giveaway was the fact that it was sent to my business email address and I only use my personal email on ebay.

I wonder how many people have been suckered into this one.

I just went back and clicked on the link and it then asks you for your ebay signin details, which is obviously the biggest part of the scam. With those details you can do a lot of damage!

I'm pritty big into ebay i get alot of messages like that.

I would imagine alot of people would fall for it.

Do most ebayers get them or what?

I did get such mails. Just be aware of real and scam is the only way to get off trouble.
