Default Which banks don't charge for you to use your debit card abroad?

This summer I'm going to New Zealand to snowboard for a month, and I'm going to need my debit card because I have to pay for several things while I'm out there such as the campervan, campsite and general living expenses. I have a debit card with Lloyds but I know they charge you if you use your debit card abroad.. and seeing as I'm using my card for a month there.. I don't really want to pay out for their stupid interest.Only catch is.. I'm 17 years old. I was looking to get a card with Nationwide (as advertised on tv) but apparently they won't let you have a debit card if you're under 18. Realistically I want a prestigious bank because I don't trust smaller businesses.Help?

the only time that banks do not charge is if you use an atm that is theirs
