FREE website advertising
hi does anyone know any popular places where i can advertise my website for FREE to get more traffic. have submitted my site to google but apparently it can take months

join online forums and promote it there.
it really helps. especially if those sites have high rankings. just don't spam

I advertise at google or yahoo, forums is the best way to get good amount of traffic. It is better to have not just traffic but genuine traffic, so better choose the forum relating to your site which would help.

I agree that forum is one way of getting some free advertisement. You can set up your home page as your signature. Another thing you can try is bookmaking sites.

Forums are the best way to get some free advertisement. Add your website to your signature, you will then see the effect taking place immediately.
