Help making an advert

Right I need some software to make a good advert in, it has to be able to display pictures, and text, and thats about it. It would be good If it allowed me to work with the images, but please not photoshop - thats way above my understanding!

It would help if the program was available for FREE, as a download, but if thats not possible any help or pointing me in the right direction wopuld be great!

If you don't mind me asking where is this advert going to be used? Is it a advert to sell some of your products say for ebay?

No Im happy with my eBay adverts!

Its for a magazine that is available (for free) for people to download, that covers one of the market places that I sell to, it goes out every 2 months, and to have a one page advert would cost me $50, on average its downloaded 75,000 times each time it goes live.

The magazine is aimed at USA Airsoft players, at this time no one else is advertising the type of products that I sell, and even if they were, mine are the best out there

At the moment im "trying" to make an advert in word, and then I will convert it to PDF (I will use a free online converter) when I place the advert for insertion.

profiler, if I was you I'd get a designer to make the ad. This is very important as you don't want you business looking cheep and tacky. When it comes to marketing it is a false economy to cut corners.

I may be able to get our full time designer to knock something up for you, no charge.

Sorry, Zoe, I have been so busy at this end, that I havn't been taking any notice of this forum for a few days! my mistake!

At this time, I am going to try (attempt) to make my own advert, in the long term, not only will I learn the skills I need, but I will always be able to change it when required.

Thanks to all people that have offered to help, its great having access to places like this, and 99% of all replys to any post I have made have been amazing.
