If I can find the vinyl stick ons that I'm looking for, I'm intending to ask a few friends to stick one in their rear car window & advertise on my behalf. I've no idea what to offer them though. How much would you expect to be paid if I asked you to do this for me?

If they are your friends I am sure you could butter them up abit..I would throw maybe 250-500 there way. Maybe they could accept a Stab or Bottle of expencive wine?

I would say may be 500 would be sounding good, it would make a good side income just to advertise on the car. This is the maximum amount I would rather wish for.

I think $500 is a bit high to pay for a friend to put a sticker on ther rear window.

It depends on the car and person though.
I would not really want to put any stickers on my rear window except for my own business.

If they drive a shitbox, maybe they will do it for free.
If they drive brand new Mercedes or BMW then you may have resistance and no amount of money will sway them.

It depends on how willing your friends are to help you out.

I'm looking at cars that I think would be one step up from those driven by my target market. Sadly, my own doesn't qualify as it wouldn't give a good enough image!!
