Using youtube to grow your website traffic
Just looking at youtube I have noticed some videos get an enormous amount of views. Has anyone used the traffic from youtube to drive traffic to your website?

I have seen it done before, but it would be good to hear from someone who uses it. |

I have never done it before but, I heard that you can send the traffic generated by the video to your site. You must put the URL of your site on your own video that is hosted youtube.

Alot of people use youtube and myspace for solid advertising and it works well.
I'm planning to do some of it for this site (If you have noticed the video section), I will make sure I let you know how it goes. Regards Dave

Yes youtube and other web2.0 sites are great traffic machines and it is a very cheap option,and youtube is not the only site out there,there are literally hundreds if not thousands of these sites out there.It will certainly enhance your google ranking too if you have a video.

I am not sure whether youtube is owned by google but I guess it is. How can we get traffic through this You Tube?? I never knew it before, how do we do that??

Well Youtube is a place where you can host movies. You make a movie (even on your webcam) about a topic and then have your website in the movie. If people are interested in it, it can get over 5000 views a week!
