are there any Indonesian export agents that someone here in aus would recommend.
just starting out and every contact says send cash 1st and we will send samples.
Is the only way to check this out is to travel there???
any help would be great for newbie.

Hello Grahm,

All (or at least most) Asian companies require payment before samples.

I would not waste my time on an agent if I was you, I would invest time into researching the company and insuring they are genuine. I would also advise not to place a sample order for over 1000 AUD. With an order under 1000 AUD there are no import costs or painful forms you will need to fill out.

I have never had an issue with paying first, just make sure you do your research.
