I guess that depends on what kind of business you are looking for. I have found the search engines to be useful, there are a bunch of turn key opportunities available if your are not looking to go through the blood sweat and tears of starting one from scratch. There are also a few companies who offer you a free website in order for you to be an affiliate for them (get people to go to your new website) all you have to do is drive traffic to the website while they do the selling and you get paid. Here are a few that I am involved with:

http://www.uniquestrategies.ws
http://www.tmiwireless.com/affiliate/?aid=26746

this second one is directed toward people living in the US but if you open a Google Adwords account you cn specifically advertise this site in the US only

Hope this helps

It all depends on what business you like to have. I like internet so I?m using the search engines when thinking of a new business to go into. I?m doing some sponsored review and a little affiliate program to go with it to earn a few dollars.

I would have to say that I Google everything not matter what the business is. I'm guessing this is why online advertising is really taking off.

Google is the first source that generally everyone would prefer to take a look at the different business options. It depends on your interest as to which business you would like to check out. I think everyone here mostly prefer Search Engines for searching a business.
