Default Business Mathematics & Statistics retalted question?

You are auditing a company account and found many mistakes in the calculation. You called the employee working in the company and ask some question. Now, your job is to show them their errors and make corrections. Scenario #1 Company bought an item at a wholesale price of 15 Rs. and sells the item for 25 Rs. What is the amount of the markup?Employee 1 said the markup price is 40 Rs.Scenario #2 What is the percent of markup for the item in scenario #1?Employee 1 said he divided 40 Rs. by 25 Rs. He said the markup is 160%.Scenario #3 The company buys an item B at a wholesale price of 200 Rs. Your percent markup is 100%. Find the retail price.Employee 2 said that the retail price is 300 Rs.Scenario #4 The Company is having a sale and is selling a 20 Rs. item for 15 Rs.Find the discount amount and the discount percentage.Employee 2 says that discount amount is 5 Rs. Then he says he divided 15 Rs. by 20 Rs. To find the discount percentage, percentage is 75%.
