Default Disheartened

Hi, wanting to make a bit of extra cash I thought I could buy from wholesalers and sell on to the public - through Ebay at first and then maybe move up to my own site.

I have read all the discussions, searched wholesalers and bought a few stupid lists and have found that unless you have a bit of money up front there is not much point.

I know that its not meant to be easy otherwise everyone would be doing it - but I have heard about people starting something from nothing and where do people get all these things to sell on ebay - Maybe its just luck?!

If anyone has some good advice for me I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
Yasmin

I think that you will find that some of the Wholesalers are also selling on eBay at the prices they sell to you at

If your looking just to sell on to customers dropshipping would be the best way forward, that way you dont need to invest in stock but using reputable dropshipping companies you can place items on hold whilst you await the payment from the customer.

Hey Yasmin,
We are lalways looking for agents to sell our products. Not internet though and you have to visitrestaurants etc. No outlay though and continuous repeat commission. We have a virtual monopoly in the cotton oshibori field in Australia and have many big name clients. If you live neara Sushi Train restaurant look on the back of the towel for our name

Cheers Andy

If you are wanting to make money on eBay I think you need to source your products elsewhere, as there are so many people buying wholesale lots & splitting them that there's not a lot of profit to be made. Alternativly, you could buy wholesale on eBay & sell the goods on elsewhere.

There are many items which can be bought online from US websites, that will still achieve reasonable profit margins when resold on eBay.

Good Luck

I heard of someone who buys their stuff on eBay and sell it on eBay on a higher price. I don't know how did they do it! I'm skepticial about the idea.
