Question I Seek info on wholesale pricing products to retailers!!

Hello everyone,

I seek information on how does a wholesaler price products for small retailers or shops.

What mark up percentage is the right one to sell the product at to a small retailer? 30%, 20%, 15%, 10%, 7% or 5%?

for exmaple I have a product that has the following wholesale prices: $8.45 at 30%, $7.80 at 20%, $7.50 at 15%, $7.15 at 10%, $6.96 at 7% and $6.50 at 5% so which one of those would be the most suitable to sell a small retailer at? Should also a wholesaler or distributor add to a price at any percentage above, shipping and GST?

How much mark up percentage does usually a retailer put on a product bought at wholesale price?

I am looking forwards to hearing from you soon.

Thank you.
