please give me advice if it better to import shoes from china for business or buy it here from wholesales company I want to open a shoes stores please I need advice and if anyone know any shoes factory in china or india

Look at you clientele. A shoe store on Rodeo Drive and one in Green Hollow, KY will have different requirements. Business is ALL customer service. If you provide a service or product that your customers want and can afford you will be successful. If not, be prepared to loose your shirt.

Hi there,

whether you get your shoes from China or not is dependant on 2 things in my opinion:
1) quantity, if you are air freighting them in small lots, 200 pairs or less, the freight is very high and will eat away all your profit margin.

2) Whether you are going to buy branded name stock or not..if you want branded stock, you are most likely not going to get it in China, nearly al branded gear out of China is fake, you will either have it seized by customs, or it will be so poor quality you will not be able to sell it. Either way, you will lose your money.
Non branded stock no problem, China is great for cheaply manufactured items, just be prepared to purchase large amounts at a time.

I do not agree with Jamie. Sure, there are many cases same to your declaring. But if you want to buy a brand shoe, you can mark it clearly with China suppliers. They will be serious with it. Otherwise, they should die out to now.
This is up to your expenditure and your control. sometimes business is control and revertive control.
