I have to agree with Yasmin there.
Although dropshipping is a fairly low risk way to enter into a business, it also comes with high risks.
With dropshipping, you cannot maintain any quality control over the stock at all, as you never physically see or handle the stock.
It is very hard to chase up wayward parcels, as you are not the sender.
You also run the risk that some (and I stress not all!!) dropshippers will actually try to poach or steal your clients by including marketing material in with the items.
So from my point of you, it is better to start with stock in hand, the reason being that as a small business you are never going to have the purchasing power of the major chains, it's just not possible, but that said, the major chains are never going to be able to offer the service and one on one support that you can offer and you only do that if you have the stock on hand!
