hi

i am hoping to set up my own designer clothing website next year

i am willing to invest heavy amounts in marketting and advertising, and spend alot in getting the site coded and designed properly

the question is

how can i get suppliers??
how do i approach these labels
such as fcuk, duck and cover, ect ect

many of them have contact information on thier offical site, do i just email them??
will they take me seriously??

i was considering using a wholesaler, but wholesalers stock is outdated, and the actual labels get fresh stock.

how do many of these designer clothing sites get set up??

and get between 13-25 labels??

lyrical, there are virtually NO fashion designers who allow there clothing to be sold online. Most of what you see is fakes.

If you have a real store it is hard to get true designer lines, let alone a website.

First step would be to develop some contacts through some trade shows, but you often have to be established to even get in the door.
