I have been starting to use google adwords a bit to try and get some results from my website. I have found that putting together the correct set of keywords and trying to localise the results a little can be quite beneficial.

My first campaign i did 2 or 3 years ago got me a few good sales, the second campaign i have been doing recently has not provided any sales yet however i am still fine tuning it and building all the pages and ads i am planning to run with in it.

It really depends on your target market. Advertise in places where your target audience usually are , that way you maximize your exposure. You can pay for advertising space in really good websites, but mix this with social networking -- participate in forums like this, create a blog or comment actively on some. Is your website optimized? That also helps a lot. =)
