I am looking for widgets that say (online, offline) and allow a visitor to start a conversation right on the page. This technology exists, but it's nearly impossible to find via google or even visiting the websites of the companies that offer these IM services because it is so obscure and there's too much SEO abuse by companies trying to get more visitors. Searching the web seems nearly dead, so I am asking out of desperation. Anyone have a list of embeddable chat applets to offer chat support via simple services such as MSN, yahoo, AIM, etc.?

Brave net offers free chat services. They're a little slow loading but what do you expect for free, huh?
