I'm looking into purchasing an item off eBay... it says in the description of the item that the seller uses Paypal only. However, under the method it says "Visa/Mastercard". Does this still count as Paypal, or is this something completely different?? Thanks!

Well I believe that means that under paypal their only accept visa/mastercard and not american express or other credit card. Hope this help...

I agree with the poster above. YOu can use your visa and mastercard to pay via paypal. Paypal is quick and easy to use so please don't be intimidated by this. If you are thinking about bidding on something, I suggest that you set the account up now. It only takes a few seconds and it is FREE for buyers to use. I think you will be pleased. If the item is a high dollar value item, I do suggest that you use your REAL visa card (not debit) to add an additional layer of protection! Paypal offers some protection but your credit card (not bank card) offers the most protection.

Yes you can use your credit card to pay via pay pal if you do not have a pay pal account.
