How much does it cost to make your own business online?
Hey, that's great you're considering open your own online store. Being an entrepreneur is one of the most rewarding careers you can have - and it definitely is a valid career choice. In response to your questions:- The cost of opening an online store varies. If you are having a web designer create it, expect to literally pay atleast a thousand dollars for a great site. If you don't have that kind of cash lying around, go with an ecommerce platform.- It's good that you've done some preliminary research. Yahoo! Small Business is one example of an ecommerce platform, and in answer to your question, there are other fees you will have to pay for different services within the platform. However, the $39.95 does not vary each month.- I also investigated different ecommerce platforms for my online store, but I ended up going with WebStore by Amazon at http://webstore.amazon.com . It's $60/month, but it includes everything, and you can make multiple stores and still pay that same $60/month, which is pretty awesome. They give you a bunch of templates to choose from that you can customize and I find it easy to manage.Check out "How To Start an Ebusiness" at http://www.entrepreneur.com/startingabusiness/businessideas/startupkits/article37948.html for some tips on how to get up and running.Best of luck with your web business. Keep that entrepreneurial spirit up!
