I want to create an itunes account, it's asking for a payment method??
i have an ipod, and i have an itunes giftcard. tried to redeem that giftcard and it asked me to make an account. So i did, but it's saying something about a payment method what is it for? do i have to pay for the program itunes?

they need to have your credit card information incase you want to buy something
