On the home page of the itunes store, on the right it should say Redeem under the Quick Links header. Click on that and type in the code on the back of the card. You have to scratch it off like a lottery ticket to see the code.One of the options should be no card. Like Mastercard, Visa, and No Card

I think you have to put a credit card number but you don't have to use it. Just put in your card number and when you get a gift card look on the i-tunes store homepage and click redeem on quick links. Enter that card number and everything will be payed by that.

You do not need a credit card to create an iTunes account or buy music on the iTunes store. You should be able to use your iTunes gift card. Click on the link below for instructions on how to use your gift card to create an account and buy music.
