Default Look at this email I got from SBBT?

We have been notified by the IRS that we will not be receiving the stimulus payments. You should be receiving it directly from the IRS via mail. If for some reason we do receive it, we will disburse the funds in the same method in which we sent your federal income tax refund at no additional fee. Please update address changes and bank account information with the IRS. Thank youMelindaSBBT customer serviceSo I guess that means that the IRS didn't even send try to send them to SBBT. So it's not SBBT's or Turbotax's problem, it's the IRS.No Not phishing, I sent them a secure message through their website last night

I called my company's CPA lawyer, I called my accountant that works with H & R Block during normal tax time, and I called my sister in law who isbest friends with someone who works at Jackson Hewitt. Then I called The IRS.They ALL said that EVEN if you had your fee;s taken out and your money depoisted by a 3rd party, that THEY STILL HAVE YOUR DD information! You will get your money DD sometime around when the sche. says. They also said that only a very few people got ther rebates early (and they MUST have filed a 1040EZ form or some other simple return in order to do so). The real money will start today, which really means Monday.I hope that this helps!!

The SBBT email is just a confirmation of what the IRS has said all along. If the efiled return had a flag indicating that the taxpayer's original refund would go first to SBBT (which allowed SBBT to deduct fees/advance loans before SBBT did a second direct deposit of the remaining money to the taxpayer), then the IRS would be automatically mailing a check. The legal agreement between the taxpaper and SBBT to allow the original refund to go to SBBT did not cover the rebate. Most of the confusion in this arena is because HRBlock and Jackson Hewitt offered a 3rd option involving a debit card. if the taxpayer didn't get an advance refund, nor had a fees issue, they could still get a debit card to access their refund. This option was great for people who didn't already have a bank account. (One of these companies was charging $20 if you *didn't* take the card.) The debit card was effectively the electronic equivalent of a real, live bank account and the flag on their tax return was set to recognize it as such. These individuals will get a direct deposit of their rebate on the card.
