I am about to use ebay for the first time with my own credit card and want to know is Paypal safe to use, is there anyway that giving paypal my card details means that my bank account can be stolen from ( the bank account linked to the credit card ).My ebay seller is 99.9% positive feedback and 23000 items sold

PayPal is awesome, and they openly tell you all about their charges- I have been using PayPal since I was 15, and I had no problems!

Paypal is very safe to use. Its great because you know you have that extra protection if anything goes wrong. I only buy from sellers who accept paypal.

Paypal is extrememly safe. I use it for personal and business purposes.Just be aware that a lot of phishers (scammers) may send you fake emails that say they are form paypal, but they are not.Whenever you get one, do NOT click on the link from your email.Instead type paypal into your browser and go to paypal from there. Any real communication will be listed in your paypal account page.

I use Pay Pal quite often. It's very secure and so simple to use. Is is safe? You bet. On 20/20 or Dateline (one of those news mags.) a few months ago they investigated Internet account safety and the USPS. They said the security was much better on the Internet.
