my queston isn't if there's going to be a population overload in the futureat this rate, its what are we tring to do about it. In other words what are some possiable solutions that have been descused or that you've just thought of to help with the futures land space issue for example:- freedom ship--largest ship that willl ever have been created(if funded enough money) big enough for 2 airport stripesso in the end what are some other methods or solutions

No... Because developed nations have a higher capacity then undeveloped. Ex. China WAS overpopulated 10 years ago but now it isn't because of industrialization.The developed nations actually face an even worse problem. Population Implosion, when the population falls and the economy collapses.

I really think that the US and other countries should have a population control policy, like China does. Families can only have a limited amount of children, and extreme as it may seem, I think it would be great. On a less realistic scale, I think everyone should have to take a test before they have children... less stupid kids. I'm really mean, and irrelevant, sorry. Ha ha.

All of this takes care of itself, believe it or not. Aids, a flu pandemic. pollution of ground water and air, wars and natural disasters will all help to reduce the population.

The population problem drives all other problems in the World. Don't get me started. The carrying capacity of the Earth is around 3 billion if we are resourceful.Are you talking about shipping people into space? Not for me. no way..OK Ned below: We'll give you your 10 square feet. we have plenty of land here in the United States. The way the gov has it programmed, seems to be working out pretty well. Many of the populus caucasion in many U.S. States have now become the minority. Man is killing off man, and disease, inborn and gov born is handling the pop problem, so don't fret that, there are too many political entities that will assure, and have assured.. that the human race does not over-develop to an enourmous uncontrollable level. They will create another war somewhere if need be, to thin down out the population.

People have been clamoring on for decades about population control maybe they should help out future generations and commit mass suicide if they are so concerned. This is getting old just like peak oil which should have run out 50 years ago, global cooling from the 70s the ozone and rain forrests scares of the 80, and now global warming. I am amazed that people follow these doom and gloomers and give them credibility. Guess people like bad news all the time.If we gave every person in the world a 10 foot space to live in the amount of land needed corresponds to the county of Houston Texas. There is more than enough land for the Earth's current population.As for reproduction control what a freakin joke. Parents in China kill their baby if it is a girl and now they have 128 million single men who will never get married. Every one has a right to procreate and having laws against it is stupid. It will cause more problems then solve in the long run.People think about the reprecutions before making a point please think things through.
