ok so i want to preorder jesse mccartneys new album departure (coming out may 20). when i clicked on the shipping methods, it said stuff like "option 1: 3-8 days, option 2: 2-6 days, and option 3: guaranteed delivery on may 20."so my question is, when it says "3-8 days" does it mean the album will come 3-8 days from the day i order it, or 3-8 days after may 20?

May be slightly different with different companies, but with the one's i've used it would be 3-8 days after they despatch it.i.e. they send you an e-mail when they're about to send them out (usually a couple of days or so before the release date) and you'll receive it 3-8 days after that.So, there'd be a chance you'd receive it on the day of release, but more likely a day or two later (depending on how many pre-orders they have to deal with and how good the post is)
