The information for the first guy is right. Normally, people can book hotels at Guangzhou from http://english.ctrip.com. They offer good discount price. I am not sure if they have already stopped booking for this period or not. My favor is the Rosedale hotel in Guangzhou - 4stars. It is nicely located and providing helpful service. http://www.rosedalegz.com.cn/en/guest/index.php. I booked for my personal trip in May that is about USD$65 per night. It is about USD$350 per night during this April Fair. If budget is a problem, you can try the 7 days inn. http://www.7daysinn.cn/. (Motel quality - charges less than 20USD in normal day. Of course it is expensiver during the fair as well.)
