Overseas Bank Transfer Fees
Hello all,
I've sent a payment via bank transfer from australia to united states, however the person who received it was short $25 dollars. i know that i've sent the full amount, but why is there a shortage of $25 during the process? can anyone here please tell me or explain why this is occurring? or has anyone experienced this before? Hi Occka,
$25 seems like about the right amount for an IMT, international money transfer. I think I pay $28 through the Commonwealth bank. Did you pay extra for the transfer fee or was it deducted from your payment amount? Spider |

That is about right for an international transfer fee. Check on the site it will usually tell you what the fee is somewhere within the site.

Occka the same thing happens to me with every TT I do. (Westpac)
Since my orders are in the 10,000USD+ $25 is no concern. I don't think you supplier would mind too much over such a small amount. |
