As of right now, our economy is in a slump. There are of course a lot factors that went into this and the guy in the big house sure isn't helping any. The economy stimulation in June will not make a big difference, because the majority of people will probably just use that to boost their money cache, and not actually spend it on excess things.Anyways, back to my main point. As of now, our dollar has reached an all-time low. And the majority of our jobs are either being sent offshore for cheaper costs or taken by workers willing to work for cheaper rates (hey, it's business). But my question is, will lowering the minimum wage help our economy? What are the pros and cons if this? My opinion, and I'm not professional, just common sense, is if we lower the minimum wage, along with our weak dollar, we're able to bring back the work and manufacturing back here to the states. And our export business will increase, and have rely less on imported goods. What do you think?

So many people that are out on their own need two jobs as it is now and that's for jobs that pay over minimum wage. And they still are struggling. The economy will boost only when people have above cost of living wages that enable them to buy the extra stuff. Right now the majority of people just charge-it and have been doing so for decades, add into that the corruption from the wealthy people who have approved mortgages and loans to people that would never have been approved for 10 years ago...now those people are loosing everything. Lower the wages of the few that make hundreds of thousand a year and spread out the profits (can't they go without one less summer home...one less yacht.) can ya tell this is a sore spot for mesorry you'll have to get the pros from someone else
