Default can you claim a petrol at taxation office if you ....?

Hi guys, i was wondering if you can calim pertrol at Australian Tax Office ATO at the end of finencial year if you have a part time job driving your car to the same place every shift?

The traveling expenses will only be tax deductible if you are traveling between two work places (unless one of these is your permanent residence) or if driving the car is part of your job (for example, a delivery driver, etc.) If you are simply driving from your home to your workplace and you are not using the car for your actual work then this is not an eligible deduction.
