Does this rhetoric sound similar:A defender of 1800's Slavery- "They're my PROPERTY, who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do with my property! Mind your own business and stay out of my life!"Pro-Choicers of today-"It's my BODY, who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do with my body! Mind you're own business and stay out of my life!"Conclusion: African-American slaves were treated as white people's "property". The truth is, they were actual people who deserved rights, but they were discriminated against, because they were "un-white". It was legal, but not right.Conclusion: babies in their mother's wombs are treated as a "blob of cells" in the woman's body. The truth is, they're actual people who deserve rights, but they are discriminated against, because they're "un-born". Abortion is legal, but not right.Please, Let's be OPEN-MINDED and discuss this most important issue. Thank You all.

Yes, I see a connection between slavery and abortion. Telling a woman what she has to do with her body for 9 months, is slavery.It's as simple as that.

Your analogy is hardly convincing, as you are talking about slave owners arguing another person is their property while pro-choicers are arguing their own bodies are their own property. So when a child is born and the mother is FORCED to take care of it alone (because the man has left her to deal with "it")....Wouldn't that too make her a slave of her circumstance? I guess when more women start pushing the kids out and dumping them on the doorsteps of the fathers, then the morality of abortion wouldn't be an issue.

Who spoke for the slaves' property? Hmm?? it wasn't alive. An unborn baby cannot speak for itself...let alone the emotional damage from abortion that women face...they may not know it then, but they will.
