I have exhausted myself in my search to believe that businesses and people in general would be in a position to assist me, I have sent endless amounts of emails and letters throughout the world with many choosing not even to respond back.I have found that Businesses who send an email or letter to basically say they give generously to charities each year and they do not donate or assist individuals at all. In saying this, it is merely a Tax issue for them only with no real effort to help the everyday Australians.In today’s society I have found it very difficult to be able to locate someone who can assist and I am beginning to wonder as to why, people keep saying get out there and try. I have been trying since July 07 and with now over 100 knock backs on rental properties I find myself asking as to why I keep trying. It appears easy for someone to say giving the fact that they are not in my situation and I truly believe it is becoming an easy answer for most.I am considering what other avenues are open to me but I feel that I have drained myself to the point where I find that I will not seek an answer at all.It has been suggested that I go to the Department of Housing, well I have done this on numerous occasions and the fact is there is nothing available. I have contacted Women’s Shelter’s and I have been informed that “transsexual’s are not accepted”, or they simply say we are full, which to them is not discrimination. I have been to the Salvation Army for assistance for which I was basically informed that they could not assist, yet their suggestion was to move to a southern state. I went to make an appointment with life line and due to the fact that I did not have an address to prove which area I was in they would not be able to assist, I had explained my situation over the phone only to be told I need to contact the people in my area or contact Centrelink to obtain a list of those who assist people in my position, which I did. This was a complete waste of my money, and time.I have used what little money I have to pay for motel accommodation, and now I am at the stage where I will need to sell my vehicle to have more money to survive and this is the point where I will find my options just closing around me. Transport has enabled me to get from one point to another and at the present time it has been far cheaper than public transport would be.It has been suggested that I get employment, this again is an easy answer for people, I have tried too many times and I already know the answer and it is an issue that people do not want to accept a transsexual in their establishment. I am now considering that my only choice is to sell everything I have left including my vehicle and heading into the Australian bush to live away from society, I would be able to afford a decent all weather tent, cooking and medical supplies and some survival books and a knife, I am unable to get a firearm for protection, so my only defence would be that of a knife. I have never lived in such an environment before, however I can handle isolation. What other choices do I have?

You haven't mentioned where you work. This would at least enable you to afford motel fee. Not much of anything else, but it would be a start. People tend to help those who help themselves first.Now if you're handicapped or physically challenged that is another story.
