i dont know why the car battery keeps on draining and the car suddenly shuts down. The alternator is new the starter is new and the battery is new and i have put two other good batteries and it still drains them and the car shuts down with no warning like lights dimming. If anyone knows anymore steps i should take in order to fix this problem please post themim sure that the alternator works properly because i tested it and autozone tested it and it came out oki only have a stereo but thats the only thing no amp, subs, or other speaker. only stereo and stock speakers

Just because the alternator is new, doesn't mean it works properly...could be defective

first of all, do you have a stereo system? not a stock stereo, but i mean bass, with an amp etc? if so, do you have a digital capacitor? that could be the problem. the digital capacitor continues to drain the power from the batter long after you take the key out.

A new alternator does not mean that the alternator works. Carry the car to Advanced Auto Parts or AutoZone. They will check the alternator for free. First make sure that all of the wires were put back on when the parts were changed.
