I want to start a business making candy, can I make these in my home kitchen?

I am not sure if I can do this because of health code regulations. Do you know if this is legal if so what are the specs? 2 sinks...etc?Where do I find this info? I am in California.

that would be your city or county health department, not the city.i seriously doubt you will be allowed to do this though.the health department of most municipalities is very strict about such things.stainless steel sinks, special containers to hold ingredients, special handling etc.and your zoning would have to be C1 or business to run such a business.you may be better off simply renting a small commerical condo space and setting up shop there.

Hi, I do not know the laws for California but you should be able to go to your county website and look up health department regulations. That should give you the answer or at least a place to start.
