I am registering my company next week can people suggest to me a suitable company i think that registering through companies house is quite dear I found a company called 4business & another called formations house for a basic LTD they are quoting $100 - 160
is this genuine way of going about it or is there a serious flaw?

also another question as i am really curious to know after you register your details for an LTD and receive your certificate of incorporation can you start trading without appplying for a VAT number if you know you will not reach the threshold of $120k I know that you still need to pay VAT on inbound goods .

sorry about the questions but i am sure you guys can help i wasted alot of my time on the internet 5 years ago and bought it into the e-book scam that woz going on in those days and affiliate rubbish but hopefully this is a new start as i am only 16.5 and ive gt a long way to go!

Here is where we did ours. You can get it done from just $70 although they have lots of different packages.

You don't need to register for VAT until you reach the threshold, regardless of your trading status.

Thanks mate its just i want everything to be done legally another question is if you are making less than the threshold do you have to fill in tax return forms? if yes how easy are they to fill in?

Yes you need to do your tax returns. You can do them yourself but IMO it's best to get an accountant to do them. They have saved me more money then they charge me over the last couple of years

is it $120k net profit or total income from sales?
