Default Legal question.?

I have a beer/wine store and my beer/wine license expires in about two months. When I initially got my beer/wine license, I had a clean criminal record, now, I have a criminal offense (running gambling business). My question is, will this prevent me from renewing my beer/wine license? If so, what happens if I sell the business to a new owner, will they be able to acquire it or will the outcome be the same? This is in the state of Texas, btw. Not sure if that matters, but thought I'd mention it anyway.Wine/beer license, not liquor. Completely different things. Thanks for the answers so far, though. Still looking for more info.

Default Legal question.?

License, being the same, would not think it would have to do anything with the previous owner, that being, YOU

If you have an existing license certain offenses will effect your eligibility to hold a liquor license. One of those would be gaming violations. Honestly, I'm surprised that TABC didn't revoke your license before now. You can always appeal their decision and ask for a hearing on the matter. The complete rules and regulations can be found at:http://www.tabc.state.tx.us/default.htm
