omg i had the worst experience today all b/c of RACISTS!!!!!?

omggg today i was just minding my own business and being myself when i saw these people with big signs and they said "******* are bad" and "bring back slavery" and i was just like omg! and i was like how is this even allowed and its all freedom of speech but what about the freedom to live your life without being constantly reminded of your race!? whatever happened to that freedom? can someone explain to me how this is legal? do you think people should be allowed to do these things? its just so mean! there were black people in distance who could read the signs too! should this be allowed?

had to be in the south. They wouldn't last 5 seconds up north. There are laws protecting "free speech".......but what those people seem to convieniently forget, is that there are laws about inciting RACIAL HATRED too. I hope some black cop nailed them!

If you live in the US you know we have the right to free speech under the first amendment of our constitution. Should those rights be abolished because of something you find offensive? If so, I am offended that you would want to deny me my right to free speech.I'm not defending what those ignorant, intolerant, racist pigs said and did, only their right to freely express themselves. Also, as far as I know, the constitution does not guarantee the freedom from constantly being reminded of one's race.

They are the minority, and whatever voice they think they have are muffled by their own ignorance. A counter protest might work, or write to your local representatives, demanding how they allowed this. Its my understanding any public protest needs a permit and they must've been given one. Also, write to the local news then to the news in your state to bring more bad attention to this. When this type of thing happens, try to video tape it or get pictures so you have something to show others later. (like news reporters)Hopefully you will shame them back under the rocks they came from.
