I've been collecting GST for my first quarter of business and have just recently discovered that I might not have been supposed to.

I just got my digital certificate in the mail and was hoping I would be able to register for GST using that but... Apparently not

I need to submit a BAS statement in just over a week and I need to know how what to do...

When you register for GST do you keep you existing ABN number?

Have you registered for GST yet? Because if you turnover less than $75,000 in the financial year you are not required to.

If you need to submit a BAS statement ASAP just organize a paper copy. Call the ATO and say you were not mailed one.

As for your question, your ABN remains the same when you register for GST.
