Default What legal steps must I take to be officially self-employeed, if any?

I'm starting an internet business and will work from home (in NH). Is there forms I have to fill out? Fees I have to pay? I know about the taxes, but thats seems to be the only information I can find. Thank you.Excuse my grammar.

You need a business license in the state you live in, which will give you a state id number then you will need to get a federal ein number. (the federal costs nothing its just a piece of paper that needs filled out after you aquire the business licence)

There's not much legally that you have to do at this point, depending on the the type of business you have. All you have to do is worry about your taxes either with a tax ID or you can use your personal SSN. If your local city doesn't require you to have any type of license or certification, then you're in the clear. But you should still check with your local Chamber of Commerce to make sure.Good Luck,http://aac.ebusinesswiz.com

Go to www.gosmallbiz.com for some great information. They will also point you to a great company, called Pre-Paid Legal Services, which is a terrific way to have affordable access to legal services. If you like what you see, go to www.prepaidlegal.com/info/sandyhimel

I suggest you to try project payday, simply because you don't need any money up front and you can start making money within 15 minutes. I average around 1,500 dollars every month with it. Check it out at http://2biturl.com/2d6
